We are looking for an influential, strategic and collaborative Global Access Strategy Head to join one of our Global Asset Teams, based in our Brussels, Belgium or Slough, United Kingdom office.

About the role

At UCB, we are committed to creating value for patients by ensuring access to innovative medicines. As Global Access Strategy Head for one of our key assets, you will play a pivotal role in shaping global access, pricing, payer evidence and healthcare policy strategies across the product lifecycle. Working as a trusted strategic partner within the Global Asset Team, you will help maximize the value of the asset for patients, healthcare systems and UCB by integrating payer insights into key business and development decisions.

Who you'll work with

You will be working in a highly cross-functional Global Team that brings together experts across Market Access, Medical Affairs, Evidence Generation, Commercial Strategy, Pricing and Healthcare Policy. As a member of the Asset Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with Global, Regional and Local stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and helping create a shared vision for successful market access worldwide.

What you'll do

  • Lead Global Access, Pricing, Payer Evidence and Healthcare Policy strategies for the asset across development and launch phases.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Payer perspectives into asset strategy, evidence generation and life-cycle planning.
  • Lead and coordinate a Global Payer Community, aligning priorities, objectives and strategic deliverables.
  • Oversee payer research, market insights and health technology assessment activities to support informed decision-making.
  • Drive development of pricing strategies, value narratives, health economic evidence and global value dossiers.
  • Support launch readiness by translating global payer strategies into actionable guidance for regional and local teams.

Interested?

For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Economics or a related field.
  • Experience developing and implementing Global Pricing, Reimbursement or Market Access strategies in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare settings.
  • Strong understanding of international healthcare systems, payer environments and health technology assessment processes.
  • Experience working with the U.S. healthcare and payer landscape, including pricing, reimbursement and market access dynamics, with the ability to integrate these insights into global asset strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex initiatives in a matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, supported by excellent communication skills.
  • Experience translating evidence and insights into actionable business strategies across global markets.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
