Account Manager

Global Retail & Distribution | Account Strategy | Trade Marketing & Partnerships
Responsibility
Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with ripple⁺ retail and distribution partners globally, driving trade marketing strategies and account growth.

Key Responsibilities
Account & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary liaison between ripple⁺ and its retail and distributor partners globally.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential trade partners to enhance brand loyalty and maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide timely and responsive support to key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Sales & Growth Strategy
- Support and collaborate with the Retail Team to achieve sales targets by implementing effective communication, strategic planning, and account expansion.
- Manage travel retail expansion, including merchandising strategies, staff training, market analysis, and logistics management to drive growth in the sector.
- Provide strategic recommendations on how to activate with trade partners, aligning with shopper needs while enabling ripple⁺'s growth.
- Own the commercial strategy, prioritizing specific retailers and partners based on business objectives.
Trade Marketing & Activation
- Develop and execute tailored promotional campaigns and activations for key accounts both online and in-store.
- Plan promotional calendars in collaboration with retailers, aligning with key campaign periods predefined by the marketing team (e.g. "New Year, New Me", "Stoptober").
- Deliver strong and disruptive in-store activations through impactful merchandising and retail experiences.
- Support new store openings, counter launches, and special events with seamless execution and coordination.

Operational Excellence & Retail Support
- Monitor and ensure the correct implementation of new listings, promotions, and online presence.
- Manage all in-store marketing materials and liaise with designers to bring creative assets to life.
- Standardize marketing proposals and sales decks to align with ripple⁺'s branding and evolving product offerings.
- Educate and upskill retailer staff on the ripple⁺ brand and products by hosting training sessions to turn them into brand evangelists.
Logistics & Account Coordination
- Oversee order processing and fulfillment for key accounts, ensuring inventory levels are managed effectively.
- Address any order discrepancies or fulfillment issues to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage new partner onboarding, overseeing product listings, and providing standardized assets and product information to ensure a smooth launch.

Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management and/or sales within consumer goods, wellness, or retail industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and account management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the retail and travel retail industries is a plus.
- Multilingual proficiency is advantageous.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.

The start date for this role is immediate upon finding the right candidate. The interview process will be three stages: a phone interview and two face-to-face interviews, with the final interview including a presentation.
