Purpose of the job
The Account Manager Retention/Development is responsible for growing Lenovo’s customer base within the Global Customer segment with a portfolio of Lifescience customers. The individual will be responsible for winning new business and expanding the current business within a group identified accounts in Lenovo’s Global Account Lifesciences Segment. All Lenovo business lines will be covered (MBG/IDG/ISG/SSG) i.e. Mobile, Devices, Infrastructure, Services and Solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop CIO, CTO level relationships to act as trusted advisor to customers
- Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments
- Acts as mentor for internal sales representative and other team members
- Conduct regular weekly calls on site visits with customers and prospects
- Provide tailor-made configurations/solutions for customer base adhering to the company’s internal processes
- Work together with internal stakeholders to ensure timely responses to RFP’s/queries
- Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets
- Independently develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals
- Build a strategic sales plan for the assigned and identified accounts and execute accordingly taking the critical success factors into account
- Team with a cross functional team within the company to keep deals moving through the funnel
- Act as a Client Executive and coordinate peer specialist customer engagement across our mobile, PC, server, workstation, and services and solution group.
Requirements
- Relevant Education, business skills or similar level through experience.
- At least 5 years successful Enterprise technology sales is required
- Demonstrated track record of top performance with multi-million dollar quota’s
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills both verbal and written in English.
- Proven successful account management track record of selling to Large Enterprise Fortune 500 segment
- Strong relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to motivate virtual teams resources
- Technical affinity and experience in the end user compute/server/storage business arena or similar technology sectors
- Experience with working for a Global / Multinational employer is considered a benefit
