Role: Global AI Security Architect

Location: EU based (preferred locations are Germany & UK)
Salary: up to £115,000 (higher banding can get signed off but you must hit most if not all of the below requirements to justify)

Lawrence Harvey are partnered with a large international business operating across 60+ countries, with significant investment in technology, cloud and digital transformation and ~€25bn revenue.

Reporting directly to the CISO, you’ll own technical security architecture and controls across Enterprise AI/ML, Generative AI and supporting infrastructure.

You'll be:

  • Defining the global AI security strategy
  • Designing secure architectures for AI platforms, RAG and agents
  • Securing AI workloads through access, isolation and secrets management
  • Developing AI threat models, adversarial testing and incident playbooks
  • Defining security patterns and translate regulation into technical controls

Key responsibilities:

  • Architect secure AI platforms, RAG services and autonomous agent environments.
  • Automate model validation and security checks within enterprise MLOps pipelines.
  • Harden AI infrastructure using IAM, isolation and secure secrets management.
  • Lead adversarial assessments, threat modelling and AI incident response planning.

Key requirements:

  • 8+ years of strong experience in security engineering or architecture experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML, RAG and LLM security.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience across Cloud, IAM, Kubernetes and CI/CD expertise.
  • Very strong automation skills, ideally Python
  • Knowledge and familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act.
  • Fluent English; German is a plus
