Why this role matters

As our global portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a Global Asset Management Officer to join our team and support the effective management of our renewable energy assets worldwide.

Reporting directly to the Global Asset Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating portfolio reporting, maintaining reporting tools and templates, consolidating performance information, and supporting communication between our global and local asset management teams.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to international renewable energy assets and work closely with stakeholders across Europe and Asia while contributing to the continued growth of a leading renewable energy business.

In this role you will

  • Coordinate the collection, consolidation and validation of operational and financial performance information from assets across the global portfolio.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc management reports for internal stakeholders and shareholders.
  • Maintain and continuously improve asset management reporting templates, dashboards and reporting processes.
  • Support the preparation of portfolio performance updates, management presentations and governance materials.
  • Coordinate with local Asset Managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in organizing regular portfolio review meetings and track follow-up actions.
  • Monitor reporting deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding information requests.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly reporting to JERA HQ and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality, reporting efficiency and asset management processes.
  • Assist the Global Asset Manager in various portfolio management and coordination activities as required.

To be successful in the role you will bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Early-career professional with relevant experience in reporting, project coordination, business support, or administration.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to organise, analyse, and present information in a clear and structured manner.
  • Comfortable coordinating and consolidating information from multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets. Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to prepare clear and professional management presentations. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an asset.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Japanese and/or Dutch is an advantage.
