Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Commercial Performance Manager, based in Glasgow or Dumbarton. You’ll lead the strategic planning and optimisation of Aggreko’s global fleet portfolio, shaping how our assets are deployed, invested in and utilised worldwide.
Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers’ worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.
What You’ll Do As Fleet Performance Manager
- Lead the global fleet planning rhythm, establishing a clear, insight-driven fleet plan covering availability, redeployment options and replacement needs, while proactively identifying supply chain risks in coordination with Regions, Procurement, Product Management and manufacturing hubs.
- Drive the monthly Capex requisition process, validating technical readiness with Product Management and delivery feasibility with Procurement and manufacturing partners. Ensure alignment with strategic fleet objectives, readiness for approval within budget cycles, and maximise utilisation to minimise unnecessary capital expenditure.
- Own global fleet movements, providing a consolidated view of asset availability and redeployment. Ensure tactical decisions support long-term strategic plans and deliver the best outcome for the group.
- Leverage advanced fleet analytics—utilisation, aging profiles, slow-moving asset data—to inform decisions on retention, transfer or divestment. Translate insights into clear actions for regions and ensure alignment with capital efficiency objectives.
- Develop and empower a high-performing Fleet Planning team, fostering a culture of excellence, capability uplift, best-practice sharing and improved performance across the global Fleet community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
