Transaction Banking Operations

Transaction Banking Operations is part of Transaction Banking within the Global Banking Markets Division, comprised of the below primary functions:

  • Combining digital expertise and financial acumen, we provide comprehensive solutions to meet our clients' complex treasury challenges and needs.
  • We enable client success by providing a differentiated experience through our clients’ pre-sales and go-live journey, onboarding, implementation and testing, and throughout go-live and early-stage support.
  • We provide best-in-class service to our clients post go-live across all their business needs, including payments and transactions flows across our global payment rails.
  • We support the build and development of new Treasury Products, Services and Partnerships, alongside Product, Risk and Engineering teams, by handling all Operational process, procedures and control development.

TxB Operations is a growing sub-division, with regional presence in Singapore, Bengaluru, London, New York and Dallas. All our offices work closely together as a single global team. As this business expands, we will look to increase our global footprint accordingly.

Your Impact

You will help build and operate the client service capability supporting the launch and controlled growth of the correspondent banking business. Acting as a point of contact for financial-institution clients, you will own complex payment and account-servicing matters through resolution, support launch-readiness decisions and convert early client and operational insights into scalable processes, controls and service improvements.

Key client-facing responsibilities will include managing strategic client relationships, exceptions resolution, handling of escalated client inquiries and most importantly – ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Our Impact

Transaction Banking Operations supports Goldman Sachs' treasury, cash management and payments offerings for corporate and financial institution clients. The team designs and executes scalable service, operational and control capabilities that protect client and firm assets while enabling business growth. Operations partners closely with Product, Coverage, Digital, Compliance and Engineering across the full client and transaction lifecycle.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

Correspondent Banking Launch and Readiness

  • Drive assigned operational-readiness deliverables across service design, procedures, controls, training, testing, go-live and post-launch stabilization.
  • Use correspondent banking expertise to identify service requirements, dependencies, risk scenarios, capacity considerations and escalation paths.
  • Partner across Product, Coverage, Engineering, Implementation, Compliance, Financial Crime, Risk, Treasury, Network Management and Operations to translate requirements into executable service processes and controls.

Client Service and Relationship Support

  • Own client inquiries end to end, ensuring clear communication, documented accountability, timely escalation and confirmed closure.
  • Understand client operating models, payment flows, service expectations and risk profiles to anticipate needs, reduce friction and enhance the client experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
