A market leading, multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund, going through a huge period of expansion, are looking to make a newly created ‘Global Benefits Specialist’ hire into its London office.

The hire will take on a key role in the development of a rapidly growing rewards function, stepping in as one of the first hires focusing on benefits. The hire will work to support the development and roll out of strategic initiatives for benefits on a global firmwide scale. As part of a lean and growing team the hire will take ownership of managing relationships with benefits vendors and using internal HRIS reporting systems to make data driven decisions for the best new benefits packages for the firm to adopt as they continue to grow exponentially in terms of headcount and geographical presence. The hire will be supported by HR generalists in the management of BAU processes such as year-end reviews, compliance and enrolment management.

Ad Hoc + project focused work also forms a key component of the role as you will be expected to regularly track emerging trends in the hedge fund industry, actively assessing the competitive and regulatory landscapes and articulating potential impact. You would also work to identify and propose improvements to existing benefits processes, tools and programs to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

Candidates should ideally have 2-5 years of relevant experience working directly in ‘benefits’, or in a HR generalist role that includes benefits as part of his/her remit. Whilst FS experience is preferred, we are open to industry. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong academic background.
