Global Benefits & Wellbeing Lead

The Global Benefits & Wellbeing Lead designs, delivers, governs, and continuously improves a globally consistent yet locally relevant portfolio of benefits and wellbeing programmes that is competitive, fair, and cost‑effective, including differentiated solutions for critical skills and communities. The role leads the global enterprise wellbeing agenda, leverages digital platforms to provide real‑time total reward visibility (in close partnership with the Performance and Reward COE), and ensures robust vendor governance, compliance, and measurable value outcomes across markets. Operating as a strategic enterprise leader, the role balances the employee proposition and experience with financial stewardship, using data and analytics to drive design choices, personalisation, and impact.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Define, deliver and govern a global benefits framework that balances market competitiveness, internal equity, and cost efficiency, establishing global standards and local flex.
  • Design differentiated benefits offerings for critical skills and talent communities while maintaining overall fairness and policy coherence.
  • Design and lead the global wellbeing agenda, ensuring scalable, evidence‑based programmes that support engagement, resilience, and retention.
  • Partner with the Performance and Reward COE and other key stakeholders to deploy technology that enables personalisation and real‑time communication of total reward and benefits.
  • Continuously benchmark, assess utilisation and employee impact, and recommend improvements to benefit design and delivery.
  • Lead vendor selection, commercial negotiations, SLAs, and ongoing vendor performance management to ensure strong governance and value realisation.
  • Oversee global compliance for benefits and wellbeing in partnership with Legal/Tax, ensuring policies meet local regulations and global standards.
  • Manage global benefits budget, cost levers, and funding approaches to deliver year‑on‑year cost efficiency without reducing employee value.
  • Build strong partnerships across P&C and our strategic partners, including People Experience, Internal Communications, Strategic Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition, to support adoption and alignment.
  • Lead communication and change planning to drive awareness, understanding, and utilisation of benefits and wellbeing programmes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
