Main purpose of the position
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Bid Manager to join our Global Client Solutions and Bid Management team. You will play a critical role in driving business growth by managing the end-to-end bid process for international opportunities. Responsible for producing high-quality written tender materials for our most strategic pursuits, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyse bid requirements, and develop compelling, winning proposals. What you’ll do:
- Lead the bid management process for global opportunities, from initial qualification through to submission, in line with company best practice procedures and governance.
- Apply best practice bid writing techniques to develop compelling tenders, executive summaries, and sales presentations.
- Coordinate quality reviews and ensure proposals are customer-focused, benefits-led, and aligned to client requirements.
- Support strategic planning activities, including evaluating market intelligence, identifying customer priorities, developing win strategies, and articulating value propositions.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, legal, finance, and operational teams to develop bespoke, high-quality bid submissions.
- Manage and maintain bid content libraries and contribute to continuous improvement of bid management frameworks and processes.
- Maintain accurate bid and customer information within the CRM system.

Who you’ll work with:
You will work as part of a global team of bid professionals, solution and pricing leads, subject matter experts, and commercial colleagues, collaborating across multiple countries and functions to deliver winning solutions.
Key qualifications:
- Degree educated or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years' bid management experience, preferably within an international environment managing opportunities valued at $30m+.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- APMP or equivalent bid management certification is desirable.
- Experience in project management, proposal writing, editing, formatting, and presentation development.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.

- Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Highly organised project manager capable of delivering to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with large, complex, cross-functional teams.

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
- Positive, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
