As the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function, we collaborate with the business to deliver innovative, audience-centric brand, marketing and communications. Our team is an integrated global network of over 2,500 professionals with skills in content development, editorial, webcast creation, events-staging, strategy, and operations.
The opportunity
With the current growth of our EY-Parthenon Service Line we are looking for an experienced all-round marketing and communications professional with strong writing, content development skills together with an understanding of EY’s service offerings to join our EY-Parthenon BMC team.
With a particular focus on our AI-powered client technologies – EY-Parthenon EDGE platforms – you will build and manage strong relationships and collaborate closely with relevant business leaders as well as the wider Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team and more broadly.
Your key responsibilities
Working closely with our EY-Parthenon BMC leadership your role will be to collaborate with our leaders to help develop proprietary internal communications, thought leadership, data-led surveys, by-line articles, client materials, web pages and blogs:
- Play a key role in creating best-in-class issue-based marketing and communication programs with a focus on delivering results and business outcomes that build brand, expand relationships and ultimately help drive revenue with clients and prospects.
- Seek opportunities to take the whole of EY/EY-Parthenon offerings to clients, working to integrate activities into cross-Service Line campaign where possible.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on BMC issues, trends and long-term implications for EY-Parthenon’s Brand and Go-To-Market approach.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of EY-Parthenon’s business, clients’ issues and buyers’ agendas across sectors and geographies globally.
- Effectively engage Service Line (SL) /EY leaders/people with consistent global messaging around EY-Parthenon strategy, market and commercial opportunities, operational considerations, etc, within context of overall EY strategy and purpose.
- Support and shape the engagement around global SL brand/marketing programs and firmwide brand/marketing programs.
- Devise and deliver creative use of content and channels to engage key internal audiences.
- Collaborate with other functions – such as Talent – on key change management initiatives, such as transformation of service delivery.

You will also focus on ensuring connectivity and consistency across the whole BMC team:
- Actively collaborate with SL leadership/BMC peers/teams in the Regions to continually refine strategy as appropriate to ensure joined-up execution of plans – including responding to unexpected market shifts, opportunities and challenges.
- Within that context, you will influence world-class marketing and communication strategies that align to the business priorities of EY-Parthenon/EY to help us achieve strong business results with external and internal stakeholders.
Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for a strong all-rounder who can switch focus from internal to external comms and a key skill to enable that will be writing skills that can engage audiences in a creative and compelling way
You should have some experience of AI/technology marketing and communications and/or experience in product marketing
You should demonstrate excellent, high-level diagnostic and substantive oral and written communication skills, including a proficiency in converting complex technical concepts into compelling messages
You should have an understanding of sophisticated economic and financial materials; be able to make technical content accessible and appealing to our people and a C-suite audience
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent area of study or experience)
- Experience in creating and writing compelling business content, working in complex and demanding environments, and managing time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with challenging views and perspectives with business stakeholders
- Experience working with external and internal agencies/resources and research provider

Ideally, you’ll also have
- A good understanding of how Brand Marketing and Communications strategies help the business achieve its objectives and keep abreast of trends on digital content development, deployment and measurement to keep the program competitive
- Up-to-date knowledge on BMC and service line issues, trends and long-term implications for EY’s brand strategy
- The ability to assert own ideas and persuade others; gain support and commitment from others; mobilize people to take action; use creative approaches to motivate others to meet the strategic goals and priorities
- Initiative, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrate reliability
