Company Description

TTP is an employee-owned technology and product development consultancy, with a 40-year track record of helping ambitious clients solve complex technical challenges and bring innovative, commercially successful solutions to market.

We invent, design, and manufacture impactful products and technologies across a wide range of industries – including healthcare, life science, energy, and communications – and at the intersection of biology, physical science and engineering.

Our working culture encourages entrepreneurship, shared ideas and technical collaboration, while providing you with the freedom to do your best work.

Job Description

Satellite communications is evolving rapidly. Advances in Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), software-defined payloads, smart antennas and increasingly capable user terminals are transforming how people and devices connect around the world. At TTP, we help ambitious organisations develop the commercially successful technologies that make these advances possible.

We’re looking for an experienced, collaborative Global Business Development Lead to join our Satellite and Space team.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role - you’ll own the commercial responsibility for developing strategic global relationships, both new and existing, with a broad range of clients in the satellite, space and communications arena. Working alongside world-class engineers and scientists, you’ll identify, develop and maintain valuable commercial partnerships and build a long-term sales pipeline based on deep customer relationships.

The team has grown substantially in recent years, creating innovative, commercially valuable wireless communications technology for ambitious customers. We have a strong track heritage in integrated terminal development for challenging applications such as low SWaP-C satellite communications, 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) and broadband for aircraft. We also have a strong track record in satellite payload development and smart antennas. If you want to learn more about what the team do, you can read more here:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
