About Us

We’re building the world’s leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets - empowering families, fueling local economies, and changing how millions access financial services.

Since our launch in 2019, we have transformed how money moves across borders with our operations spanning 6 out of 7 continents and covering both the busiest and most underserved (remittance) corridors. We tapped into a massive shift - from banks to phones - bringing digital finance to places where traditional systems never reached. The next stage of growth will fuel a network of services and products especially designed to make money more accessible to diaspora communities including local cards, and additional savings and payments features.

We’re growing fast, backed by world-class investors, and scaling a product that blends real world impact with cutting edge fintech innovation.

Here’s a little more:

  • Founded by Harvard grads and 3-time founders who previously built Segovia (acquired) and GiveDirectly (>$300M revenue, fastest-growing NGO in the world)
  • Backed by top investors including Spark Capital, Canaan, Reid Hoffman, Breyer Capital, Unbound, Wamda, and more
  • Built by global top performers from Bain, Google, McKinsey, Uber, Checkout, Bolt, and beyond - we move fast, stay humble, and care deeply about our mission
  • Truly global team - 250+ people, 50+ nationalities, 50+ languages
  • Guided by our values - ownership, impact, humility, and heart - in deed, not just word

The Role

We’re hiring a high-performing Global Business Development Lead to help drive Taptap Send’s next phase of international expansion.

Based in Dubai, London or Paris, you will work closely with the Head of Business Development as their right-hand execution partner, helping shape global priorities and turning them into commercial partnerships and successful market launches. This is a broad, high-ownership role spanning new markets, strategic partnerships, and cross-border growth opportunities.

You will own expansion initiatives at every stage - from identifying and evaluating opportunities to developing partner relationships on the ground, negotiating agreements, and coordinating execution through launch. You will work across multiple regions and corridors, with exposure to banks, fintechs, payment providers, regulators, and other ecosystem partners.

We would particularly value candidates with experience working across Africa, although the remit is global and strong experience in other emerging markets is equally relevant.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role is ideal for someone who combines market insight, commercial judgment, and execution speed. You will bring a high bias for action, move comfortably between strategy and hands-on delivery, and maintain momentum across complex, fast-moving workstreams.

The role will involve frequent international travel and is well suited to someone who enjoys being on the ground - meeting partners, understanding how markets operate in practice, and solving problems firsthand. You should be energized by unfamiliar environments and comfortable going wherever needed to turn opportunities into successful launches.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a right-hand partner to the Head of Business Development, helping translate global growth priorities into clear plans and concrete action
  • Own end-to-end partnership development across global markets - from opportunity identification and initial outreach through negotiation, execution, and launch
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize new countries, corridors, partners, and commercial opportunities based on impact, economics, feasibility, and strategic value
  • Source, structure, negotiate, and execute partnerships with banks, fintechs, payment providers, mobile money operators, and other ecosystem participants
  • Develop market-entry and partnership strategies that reflect local customer needs, competitive dynamics, regulatory requirements, and commercial realities
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior external stakeholders across cultures, markets, and organizational environments
  • Drive multiple workstreams in parallel, including market research, partner sourcing, commercial analysis, negotiations, contracting, and launch planning
  • Coordinate closely with product, operations, compliance, legal, finance, and commercial teams to turn partnership opportunities into successful launches
  • Identify regulatory, commercial, technical, and operational risks early, and take pragmatic action to keep progress on track
  • Prepare clear recommendations and decision materials for leadership, balancing speed, economics, execution complexity, and long-term strategic value
  • Help strengthen Taptap Send’s global business development capabilities, processes, and partner network as the company scales
