I'm working with one of the mining industry's leading software providers on a newly created global business development opportunity.
This role offers the chance to lead the international expansion of a proven fleet and asset management software solution, leveraging the company's established global customer base and working directly with executive leadership to drive worldwide growth.
The company is recognised as a market leader in mining software, providing a fully integrated technology platform covering exploration, geology, mine planning, production, and sustainability. With a strong global footprint and trusted relationships with mining companies worldwide, they are now investing in expanding their fleet and asset management offering into new regions.
The Opportunity
As Global Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of growing the fleet and asset management software portfolio internationally. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with senior mining stakeholders, and collaborate with regional teams to introduce the solution across existing customers and new markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
