Global Category Manager – HR Services
up to £85,000 + Car Allowance + 15% Bonus + Package - Remote with travel
An exciting opportunity to join a major global organisation undergoing significant transformation across its procurement function and operating model.
We are looking for an experienced Category Manager – HR Services to take ownership of a broad and strategically important category, partnering with senior stakeholders across HR, Procurement and Operations.
This is a high-profile category management opportunity where you’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, lead major sourcing programmes, challenge existing ways of working and drive significant commercial value and supplier innovation.
The category covers a broad portfolio of HR Services, including areas such as Recruitment, HR Technology, Professional Services, Learning & Development, Employee Benefits, Contingent Labour and wider workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic HR Services category strategies
- Lead complex end-to-end sourcing, RFP, tendering and commercial negotiations
- Lead sourcing and category initiatives across Contingent Labour / Temporary Labour and wider workforce solutions
- Manage significant spend and identify opportunities for cost optimisation, innovation and value creation
- Build and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Partner with senior HR, Procurement and Operational stakeholders
- Use market intelligence and spend analysis to identify new commercial opportunities
- Drive supplier performance, governance, compliance and continuous improvement
- Support the wider procurement transformation, embedding category management best practice
- Combine strategic thinking with the ability to remain hands-on and deliver

What the client are looking for
- Strong HR Category Procurement experience is essential – you must have managed and sourced across HR-related categories
- Strong strategic sourcing, category management, negotiation and stakeholder management experience
- Contingent Labour / Temporary Labour / Staffing / MSP experience would be highly desirable, but is not essential
- Experience operating across multiple countries or within a global procurement environment would also be advantageous, but is not essential
