Global Category Manager – HR Services & Contingent Labour – £90,000–£95,000 + Car Allowance + 15% Bonus + Package – Remote with Travel

An exciting opportunity to join a major global organisation undergoing significant transformation across its procurement function and operating model.

We are looking for an experienced Global Category Manager – HR Services & Contingent Labour to take ownership of a strategically important category, with a major focus on Contingent Labour, Temporary Labour, Staffing and MSP solutions.

This is a high-profile opportunity to shape the organisation's global approach to its external workforce, partnering with senior stakeholders across HR, Procurement and Operations to drive commercial value, improve supplier performance and develop a more strategic approach to contingent labour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global category strategies across Contingent Labour, Temporary Labour, Staffing and wider workforce solutions
  • Lead major sourcing programmes and commercial negotiations across MSP and contingent workforce providers
  • Review and optimise existing MSP models, supplier structures and commercial arrangements
  • Lead complex RFPs, tenders and negotiations with major staffing and workforce solution providers
  • Manage significant spend and identify opportunities for cost optimisation, supplier consolidation and commercial improvement
  • Partner closely with senior HR and business stakeholders to understand workforce requirements across multiple markets
  • Develop strategic relationships with key MSP, staffing and HR Services suppliers
  • Use market intelligence, spend and workforce data to identify opportunities and shape category strategy
  • Drive supplier performance, governance, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Support the wider transformation of the procurement function and its approach to HR Services
  • Remain hands-on commercially, while taking a strategic approach to category development

What My Client is Looking For:

  • Strong procurement/category management experience across Contingent Labour / Temporary Labour / Staffing
  • Experience sourcing, negotiating and commercially managing MSP solutions is highly desirable
  • A strong understanding of contingent workforce models, staffing suppliers and the wider external labour market
  • Strong strategic sourcing, category management and complex negotiation experience
  • The ability to engage and influence senior HR, Procurement and Operational stakeholders
  • Experience operating across multiple countries or within a global procurement environment would be advantageous
  • Wider HR Services category experience across areas such as Recruitment, HR Technology, Learning & Development or Professional Services would also be beneficial
