Global Category Manager – Indirect Procurement
Northamptonshire | Hybrid | £65,000 - £80,000 + Package
We are partnering with a leading international manufacturing organisation undergoing a significant procurement transformation, moving from a decentralised, site-led model towards a more strategic, centre-led function.
Reporting into the Head of Indirect Procurement, you will take ownership of global indirect categories within a portfolio of approximately £50m of spend across 8 international sites.
The role will cover a broad range of indirect categories including Facilities, Engineering Services, Maintenance, Professional Services, Logistics, IT, HR Services, Travel, Utilities and Site Services, as applicable.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global indirect category strategies
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and contract management across multiple categories
- Identify cost savings, supplier consolidation and commercial opportunities
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple sites
- Drive supplier performance, procurement governance and process improvements
- Support the wider global procurement transformation
What we're looking for:
- Strong experience in indirect category management and strategic sourcing
- Experience across multiple indirect categories, ideally within manufacturing
- Proven negotiation, supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience developing category strategies and delivering commercial value
- Exposure to global, multi-site environments or procurement transformation advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders
