Overview

Global Category Manager - IT & Professional Services Location: UK or Mainland Europe
Morgan Advanced Materials

Morgan Advanced Materials has been solving complex engineering and manufacturing challenges since 1856. Today, we're a global business with around 8,000 employees across more than 70 sites, using advanced ceramic and carbon technologies to help customers improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability.

We're strengthening our global indirect procurement capability and are looking for an experienced Global Category Manager to take ownership of our IT and Professional Services categories. This is a high-profile role with significant visibility across the organisation, partnering closely with business leaders and helping shape procurement strategy at a global level.

You'll also act as Procurement Business Partner for our corporate functions, making this as much about stakeholder influence as it is about sourcing expertise.

The Role

You'll lead the development and delivery of global category strategies across IT and Professional Services, managing significant spend, strategic suppliers, and complex stakeholder groups across multiple regions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
