Global Client Data Project Lead

The Pioneer Programme has established a global, three-divisional client data platform, enabling international client recognition and contributing to ensure the ultimate CHANEL client experience across regions. Bringing together 200+ internal and external stakeholders across Business, IT, Legal, Regions, and Divisions, it fosters cross-functional collaboration around a shared client-centric vision.
As part of the Pioneer Global PMO Department, you will support the Global Client Data Manager in delivering key initiatives within the client data domain. You will coordinate project execution, contribute to the preparation of documentation and meetings with key collaborators, ensure smooth communication and alignment, track progress, and work through any blocking points, with a focus on Data Management, Data Privacy, Analytics, and Data Stewardship activities.

Client Data Management & Governance
- Support the Global Client Data Manager as a co-pilot, ensuring successful execution of key data management priorities, anticipating needs, highlighting risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure that business requirements and business data management rules are well formalized and implemented across all Client Data Domain streams.
- Support the evolution of CHANEL’s global client data model; contributing to the definition, implementation, and adoption of Pioneer Global Calculated Fields (PGCFs), including international status, client activity, and global segmentation.
- Drive cross-domain initiatives collaborating with other data domains, such as Location and Product, to ensure smooth functional usage of Client Data within the organization’s ecosystem.
- Partner with the Global Data Governance team to ensure solutions adhere to business data principles and guidelines.
- Act as a Global Data Steward deputy within the Client Data Domain governance practice, ensuring the consistent adoption and improvement of data management rules and processes across Regions and Divisions.
- Animate the Data Stewardship Community by producing training materials, hosting forums, and providing best-practice frameworks and guidelines across Regions and Divisions.

Data Privacy & Compliance
- Facilitate the adoption of data privacy processes, such as Data Subject Request management and Data Retention policies across Regions, by communicating changes clearly, gathering feedback, and proposing practical solutions.
Analytics & Client Data Quality
- Support Regions & Divisions’ client intelligence needs collaborating with the Pioneer Analytics Product team.
- Lead data quality monitoring processes by creating or improving relevant dashboards, proactively identifying gaps, and proposing remediation plans.
- Actively support the assessment and resolution of data quality issues, coordinate across stakeholders, propose solutions, and ensure timely delivery with clear ownership and consistent communication.
Programme & Stakeholder Management
- Lead coordination and end-to-end implementation, drive alignment, and ensure the successful delivery of global data management topics across the five Regions and the three Divisions.
- Translate business priorities into project plans, user journeys, requirements, and delivery roadmaps.
- Investigate complex topics through scenario building and impact assessment and ensure alignment across all stakeholders involved on the Business and IT sides.
- Coordinate and support the monthly Client Data Forum, including agenda preparation, follow-up actions, and stakeholder communications.
- Use Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, priorities, progress, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Support the preparation of executive-level materials for steering committees and senior leadership, synthesizing progress, risks, trade-offs, decisions, and priorities to enable informed and timely action.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Keep all data management workstreams’ materials and documentation complete, clear, and updated, reflecting the latest business decisions and impacts.
- Maintain governance documentation, operational processes, and knowledge repositories.

What you will bring
- Experience supporting client data management, data governance, data quality, or master data management-related projects.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or workstreams in an international environment.
- Practical experience with client data analytics, KPI development, reporting, and data quality monitoring, with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into insights.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, processes, and project actions.
- Acquired knowledge in Digital and CRM.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; experience with Jira and Confluence is desirable.
- Understanding of luxury retail or, if not, show a curiosity to learn and immerse yourself in this industry.
