Life at clearer.io

eCommerce is crowded, noisy and increasingly complex. At clearer.io, we're built for a different outcome: clarity you can act on. We connect to the stack a merchant already runs. Our AI agents enrich their catalog, learn from their reviews and their customers, and put that intelligence to work inside the tools they already own. Their products get found, trusted and chosen — by shoppers and by AI. No replatform. Day one.

We're a global team across five international markets, backed for the long term by PSG Equity and Silversmith Capital Partners. We care about doing the work properly: listening first, building second, and shipping fast where it matters. Results matter more than rhetoric.

Our Products

  • Boost Commerce — be found. AI site search, merchandising, filtering and CRO. The right products surface for every shopper — the fastest, most measurable win an agency can hand a client.
  • REVIEWS.io — be trusted. Verified reviews, ratings, UGC and reputation. The trust signals shoppers check before buying — and that AI shopping agents check too.
  • Clearer — be chosen. Our growth engine for AI ready eCommerce. Agents learn from catalog, reviews and customer behaviour, then act through Boost Commerce, REVIEWS.io and the rest of the merchant's stack. Results compound.

Your Impact

This is the most senior commercial role in the business, reporting to the President / COO. You'll own new business globally — across all three products and across our sales and partnerships teams in the UK, Germany, the US and Australia.

We run two growth engines and we expect both to expand. Our direct teams sell at volume into SMB and mid market merchants, and increasingly further up market. Alongside them, agencies, systems integrators and technology partners across the Shopify ecosystem generate and pass qualified opportunities into those same teams — roughly half of our new business last quarter came from partners. Neither engine is the junior one. You'll own both, and grow our presence across EMEA from a base of already active partners, with a strong connection maintained to the US and APAC.

You'll also lead how our commercial teams work. We're building agentic commerce into our products, and we intend to run our own commercial function the same way. We're looking for a leader who has already installed AI enabled ways of working into a sales organisation and taken a team through that change — not someone who will meet the idea for the first time here.

What You'll Do

  • Own the number. Deliver global new business across four markets and three product lines, with a forecast you stand behind.
  • Lead four teams as one. One operating cadence, one forecast standard and one coaching bar.
  • Run the direct engine. Drive pipeline, outbound discipline, conversion, cycle time and rep productivity. At our deal sizes, the maths is unforgiving.
  • Scale the channel. Turn partner-touched revenue into a predictable engine — recruited, activated, enabled and converted.
  • Set the rules of engagement. Define credit and compensation for partner-sourced, influenced and co-sold deals so reps and partners are rewarded for the same outcome.
  • Grow EMEA. Expand from our active German partner base into the wider region, with the UK as the first proof point.
  • Make the team agentic. Redesign prospecting, qualification, preparation, selling and forecasting around AI, then lead the change.
  • Sell the portfolio. Drive attach and cross-sell across Boost Commerce, REVIEWS.io and Clearer through bundling and land-and-expand motions.
  • Stay close to the US. Build momentum on the East Coast, with regular time in New York.
  • Build the bench. Hire and develop the next layer of commercial and partnerships leadership across New York and EMEA.
  • Work with the executive team. Shape strategy, planning and board reporting, and mobilise Product, Marketing, Customer Success and the wider leadership team around the growth plan.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years in commercial or sales leadership, with meaningful multi-region ownership across at least two of EMEA, North America and APAC.
  • Deep, current fluency in the Shopify ecosystem — the App Store, agency and SI landscape, technology partnerships, and how merchants actually buy.
  • A track record of carrying and delivering a direct new-business number at volume, while building the organisation behind it — hiring, quota design, enablement and the coaching cadence required to perform consistently.
  • Experience leading high-volume SMB and mid-market motions — hundreds of deals a year at four- and five-figure ACVs. You think in coverage, conversion and rep capacity, and you know what breaks at scale.
  • Experience building a partner-led motion, not simply inheriting one. You have turned partners into a measurable revenue engine, accountable through closed-won revenue and integrated into the day-to-day work of the sales organisation.
  • The ability to make growth a company-wide priority. You can align Product, Marketing, Customer Success and other functions around the commercial strategy, remove obstacles and turn plans into coordinated execution.
  • Strong influence without relying on hierarchy. You are a skilled operator, communicator and wrangler who can create clarity, secure commitment and keep cross-functional teams moving toward the same outcome.
  • Practical experience introducing AI into a sales organisation and making it stick. You understand what needs to change, where the value lies and how to avoid the common missteps.
  • Kind, direct pushback — with reps, partners and senior leaders — in service of the customer outcome and the wider business.
  • Confidence leading, developing and performance-managing teams across time zones you do not sit in.
  • Based in the UK and happy to travel fortnightly across the UK and EMEA, quarterly to the US and annually to Australia.

Nice to Have

  • German language skills or DACH market experience.
  • Multi product or portfolio selling.
  • You've taken a specific region from soft to growing. Turnaround, not just expansion.
  • Operating experience in a PE backed business: efficient growth, board grade reporting, a clear line from activity to value.

Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. We hire for potential and mindset as much as experience — if this role excites you, we want to hear from you.

Why This Role, Why Now

  • The whole commercial function, not a slice of it. Your number, your operating model, a seat at the top table—and the opportunity to drive Clearer’s growth at an incredibly exciting time in the market.
  • Two working engines, not one bet. Direct teams delivering at volume, and a partner channel already touching roughly half of new business. You're scaling something proven, not proving something.
  • Three products, one merchant. Attach economics most single product competitors can't reach.
  • The right moment. Agentic commerce is a once in a decade shift and we're on the right side of it: expansion through connection, not migration.

What Guides Us Day to Day

  • Customers at the heart: we obsess over their needs so we can grow together
  • Purposeful progress: we don't settle — we take initiative and embrace bold thinking
  • Endless innovation: we refine, improve, and take meaningful action
  • Always open: we build trust through transparency and global collaboration

Clear Benefits

  • Private medical cover, pension with company contribution, employer-paid life assurance, holiday allowance and sick leave, plus the week off between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.
  • Your birthday off — a full paid day, just for you, every year
  • Give Back Day — a paid day each year to volunteer for a cause you care about
  • Clearer Together — each quarter, one employee who exemplifies our values wins a fully funded 5 night trip to one of our global offices (Sydney, Berlin, Leicester, Irvine or Ho Chi Minh City)
  • Stopover — travelling near one of our offices? Once a year we'll fund a day with the local team
  • Bonusly peer recognition — real time shout outs tied to our values, with points that convert to real rewards

A Fair Shot for Everyone

We're committed to a fair and inclusive hiring experience. Hiring decisions at clearer.io are based on skills, experience and role requirements — nothing else. If you need any adjustments during the interview process, just tell us; it won't affect your application.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analysing CVs, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
