Job Description

Department: Global Commercial Operations

Location: Delta Park

GLS: Placement/Ungraded

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:30

Job Summary – What To Expect

On your placement in our Global Commercial Operations team, you will support various projects and internal activities as part of the Continuous Improvement (CI) Centre of Excellence team, whilst also providing value throughout the department. You’ll work with teams across all three global regions in the commercial organization (Sales & Marketing), with our business partners such as IT and project external suppliers where required.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Supporting and creating regular reporting of project KPIs and metrics.
  • Under the supervision of the CI lead or project manager ensuring robust initiation of new mini projects.
  • Ensuring quality and timely submission of all project deliverables and documentation as assigned by the Project Manager, and taking full and direct responsibility to support all aspects of assigned projects activities from initial stages through to completion.
  • Supporting the NPLCO (commercial new product lifecycle introduction) process.
  • Maintaining and regularly updating Project information in Sharepoint.
  • Providing support to organisational change management team as required.
  • Helping to ensure projects run on time and budget, and playing an active role in the development of any assigned project deliverables.
  • Effectively communicating with the Project Manager and CI lead for any assigned projects.
  • Providing any other project management related task upon request from management.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Analytical mindset and natural curiosity- keen to seek out the ‘what’ as well as the ‘why’.
  • The ability to be methodical and organized.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
  • High computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment under deadline pressures.
  • Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-orientation and proactivity.
  • Global outlook and multicultural skills.
  • Team spirit.

Experience & Education

Experience

No specific experience required- just a keen interest in project management and global commercial operations!

Education

Currently studying an undergraduate level degree course in a relevant subject such as business management or project management and looking for a sandwich placement year; or recently graduated and looking for first career position.
