Mode is proud to be partnering with a globally recognised luxury organisation seeking a Global Communications Director to shape and lead its worldwide communications strategy.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join an internationally respected business at the forefront of the luxury industry, representing one of the world's most iconic product categories. Operating across key global markets including North America, Europe, India, and Asia, the organisation is responsible for driving consumer desire, cultural relevance, and industry advocacy on a global scale.

Reporting directly to the Global Chief Marketing Officer, this highly visible leadership role will define the global communications agenda, leading earned media, social strategy, executive communications, cultural partnerships, and brand reputation. Working closely with Marketing and Creative leadership, you will shape how the organisation engages audiences worldwide while influencing contemporary culture and strengthening global brand equity.

The Role

  • Develop and lead the global communications and earned influence strategy across multiple international markets
  • Shape integrated communications programmes supporting major campaigns, launches, and strategic initiatives
  • Drive global earned media strategy across luxury, fashion, lifestyle, business, and consumer media
  • Lead social media strategy, brand voice, and community engagement across all public-facing channels
  • Develop talent, creator, and influencer strategies to maximise cultural impact
  • Lead executive profiling, thought leadership, and corporate communications
  • Build strong relationships with international media, agencies, cultural partners, and key stakeholders
  • Develop global communications frameworks, governance, and best practice across international markets
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing global Communications and Social team
  • Measure communications performance, ensuring activity delivers meaningful commercial and brand impact

Requirements

  • Significant senior leadership experience within Global Communications, Brand Communications, Consumer PR, or Earned Media
  • Proven success leading communications strategies for luxury, premium, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands
  • Strong understanding of global media, influencer marketing, social media, and cultural partnerships
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and Executive-level communication skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to connect communications strategy to business performance
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing international teams
  • Passion for building globally recognised brands through creativity, storytelling, and cultural relevance
