About Submer
Submer designs and delivers end-to-end AI datacenter infrastructure built around industry-leading liquid cooling.
We help organizations scale AI beyond the limits of traditional datacenters by enabling higher density, greater efficiency and lower environmental impact – accelerating time-to-AI from first deployment to full production.
What impact you will have
You'll own communications for our AI infrastructure stack at group level, working at the cutting edge of one of the most dynamic industries in tech — and helping us build that future the responsible way, driven by a strong green agenda at the heart of how we grow.
As a senior communications leader with strong agency experience and deep expertise across technology, data centers, AI, infrastructure, data centers and / or cloud, you will define, shape, and amplify our global narrative. You bring a strong understanding of the hyperscaler landscape and broader ecosystem (including Nvidia), enabling you to engage credibly with our most important audiences.
You will ensure that the global AI infrastructure story resonates with global stakeholders, including hyperscalers, media, analysts, and policymakers. Your work will localize global messaging to the EMEA, APAC and US market, proactively build reputation, and establish a trusted voice for the company in a complex and highly competitive environment.
Combining strategic insight with hands-on execution, you will translate deep technical expertise into clear, compelling narratives that influence the market, strengthen our positioning, and drive engagement with priority audiences.
In this role, you will define and amplify our global narrative, ensuring it resonates with US and global stakeholders and reflects local priorities, culture, and market realities. You will:
- Shape and communicate the AI infrastructure & cloud story for business and tech media, analysts, regulators, and key customers, including hyperscalers.
- Build and maintain proactive reputation programs that increase visibility, strengthen credibility, and differentiate the company in a competitive Global market.
- Lead strategic messaging and narrative and content development for thought leadership, positioning the company as a trusted voice in AI infrastructure and data center & cloud innovation.
- Serve as the dedicated global point-person for issues and crisis communications, ensuring timely and effective responses to regulatory, political, or sensitive topics.
- Influence internal and external audiences through compelling content, executive briefings, media engagement, and coordinated campaigns, driving measurable impact on brand perception and awareness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
