Shape reward across a global luxury brand

Belmond is seeking a Global Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our Human Resources team, based at our London Wogan House Global Office.

Reporting to the Global Head of Reward and HRIS, this role will help shape and deliver Belmond's reward strategy across an international business spanning Europe, South America, South Africa and Asia. You will play a key role in ensuring our compensation, benefits and recognition approach supports the attraction, retention and motivation of exceptional talent across our global teams.

Working closely with HR and Finance, you will provide expert support across salary benchmarking, annual pay review activity, incentive schemes, benefits, job levelling, internal mobility and regulatory compliance. You will also oversee UK payroll activity for our UK entities, supervise the UK Payroll Manager and support the development of a Compensation and Benefits Analyst where applicable.

Requirements

You will support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Belmond's global reward framework, working closely with the Global Head of Reward and HRIS and HR teams across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting global compensation and benefits policies and programmes
  • Leading the annual compensation review process and bonus activity
  • Overseeing salary benchmarking and market data participation
  • Supporting job mapping and job levelling across the business
  • Advising on salary and benefits proposals for senior roles
  • Supporting global mobility and executive share plan processes
  • Supporting the delivery of Belmond's fair pay approach across the business
  • Monitoring developments in pay transparency and supporting related reporting requirements
  • Coaching and supporting HR teams on compensation and benefits topics
  • Recommending and supporting benefits initiatives in partnership with local HR teams
  • Managing the Discovering Belmond employee product programme
  • Supporting employee wellbeing initiatives linked to Belmond's reward principles
  • Overseeing UK payroll activity for UK entities
  • Supervising the UK Payroll Manager and, where applicable, supporting a Compensation and Benefits Analyst

What You Bring

  • Proven Compensation and Benefits experience in an international environment
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capability
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Experience of salary benchmarking, job evaluation and compensation survey methodology
  • Experience of international benefits programmes
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A curious mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience of UK payroll oversight would be advantageous
