Global Customer Contact Trainer

As a Global Customer Contact Trainer for Belmond, you are part of a global team responsible for developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of our Customer Contact colleagues, ensuring they deliver exceptional experiences that reflect Belmond's legendary standards. In this role, you will lead engaging training programmes, support the onboarding and development of Travel Advisors, and help drive continuous improvement across our global contact centre network. Based in our London office and reporting to the Director of Customer Contact Support, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for learning and development, coaching, communication, and operational excellence. Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering engaging virtual and in-person training programmes for new and existing Customer Contact colleagues across the global network.
  • Supporting the onboarding journey for new hires, ensuring colleagues have the knowledge, tools, and systems required to succeed.
  • Partnering closely with Customer Contact Leaders to monitor training progress, identify development needs, and support colleague success.
  • Supporting cross-skilling and upskilling initiatives across Belmond's hotels, trains, and barges to strengthen commercial and service excellence capabilities.
  • Collaborating with Customer Contact leaders and global stakeholders to implement training initiatives, maintain training materials, and drive continuous improvement across the customer contact organisation.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Experience in training, coaching, learning and development, or a similar customer service-focused role.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a global environment.
  • Confidence in building relationships with stakeholders and providing constructive coaching and feedback.
  • A passion for developing people and driving excellence in customer experience.
