Role: Global Dermatological Skincare Social Media Manager
Location: London – Hybrid – 4 days/week onsite
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Global Dermatological Skincare Social Media Manager to shape and execute our global social media strategy for our Dermatological Skincare portfolio.
This role will drive brand desirability and credibility through science-led storytelling, always-on community engagement and global amplification. Working closely with Global Product Strategy (Global Marketing), Medical Affairs and regional teams, you will ensure social campaigns are compelling, drive brand superiority and can be effectively localized across markets. Through a data-driven approach, you will help accelerate brand visibility, consumer engagement and sustainable growth on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Channel Leadership
- Define and implement the global social media strategy for Dermatological Skincare in alignment with brand priorities, consumer insights and business objectives
- Own the global channel framework (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) including role-by-channel, content pillars, tone of voice and governance for markets
- Translate campaign and product priorities into social-first plans (always-on + bursts), including global toolkits, timelines and clear KPIs
Content & Creative Development
- Lead the development of social-first content across formats (short-form video, stories, carousels, live, UGC) from briefing to production to publishing
- Partner with Medical Affairs and Regulatory to ensure science-backed, compliant claims and accurate skincare education tailored to each platform
- Maintain a global content calendar, optimize creative through testing/learning, and share best practices and templates with markets
Global Collaboration & Market Enablement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal to deliver integrated social plans
- Enable markets with clear campaign, best-practice guidance, training and approval workflows to scale globally while respecting local nuances
- Manage agency partners and freelancers (creative, community, production) to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget
Insights, Measurement & Social Listening
- Track and report performance across channels (reach, engagement, follower growth, traffic, conversion) and recommend actions based on insights
- Lead social listening to identify emerging trends, consumer needs, claims risks and competitive activity, translating findings into content and campaign opportunities
- Continuously optimize through A/B testing and learning agendas, contributing to global dashboards and quarterly business reviews

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
- 10+ years of experience managing social media for skincare/beauty/dermatology, consumer health, or regulated categories, ideally in a global matrix environment
- Proven experience building social strategies and editorial calendars, with strong campaign planning and stakeholder management
- Hands-on experience with analytics and publishing tools (e.g., native platform analytics, social management suites) and working with paid social/media teams
- Excellent writing and editing skills, strong creative judgement, and the ability to manage multiple projects, agencies and approvals end-to-end
