Background to the Role
The Global Digital & E-Commerce Assistant supports the development and execution of digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives across a portfolio of colour cosmetics brands.
Working closely with Brand Marketing, Advocacy & Influencer, Social Media, Creative, Commercial and local teams, this role helps drive best-in-class digital experiences that build brand awareness, consumer engagement and online sales performance.
The position combines digital campaign coordination, e-commerce content management, performance reporting, trend analysis and operational excellence.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious marketer looking to gain experience in digital marketing, online retail, omnichannel activation and modern consumer engagement within a fast-paced global beauty environment.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Content
- Support the creation, organisation and deployment of e-commerce content across retailer and brand.com environments.
- Assist with product page optimisation including imagery, copy, claims and educational content.
- Coordinate launch assets for key retail and marketplace partners.
- Help maintain digital merchandising standards and online shelf excellence.
- Support retailer-specific activations and promotional opportunities.
- Assist in tracking implementation of global e-commerce toolkits across markets.

Digital Consumer Experience
- Assist in monitoring consumer journeys across digital touchpoints.
- Support optimisation of content designed to improve consideration, conversion and repeat purchase.
- Help review best practices in digital commerce and online consumer engagement.
- Assist in evaluating competitor activity and emerging consumer behaviours.
- Support testing and implementation of new digital capabilities and content formats.
Trend, Data & Market Analysis
- Monitor digital, social commerce and e-commerce trends across beauty and broader consumer industries.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and online retail audits.
- Analyse retailer activity, promotional trends and category developments.
- Support development of performance reports.
- Share key learnings and opportunities with the wider team.
Project & Operational Management
- Maintain project trackers, launch calendars and status updates.
- Support agency management, invoice processing and budget administration.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports and leadership updates.
- Ensure assets, timelines and deliverables are managed effectively across multiple projects.
Commercial & Financial Responsibilities
- Support delivery of digital and e-commerce objectives contributing to portfolio growth.
- Assist in monitoring key commercial performance indicators including traffic, conversion, sales and content effectiveness.
- Help identify opportunities to improve digital visibility, online conversion and consumer engagement.
- Assist in developing business cases and performance summaries for future investment opportunities.

What You Will Bring
Required Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, E-Commerce or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of digital consumer behaviour and online retail environments.
- Interest in beauty, fashion, culture and emerging digital trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
- Experience using digital analytics, e-commerce or content management tools is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders and markets.
