Global Distribution Manager – Marine
Job Title: Distribution Manager – Marine
Reports To: Head of Marine
Location: Flexible / Hybrid (with global travel)
About Cyclops Marine
At Cyclops Marine, we are changing the way sailors and boatbuilders understand load and performance. Our wireless load-sensing technology brings real-time data to racing yachts, superyachts, riggers, and OEMs globally. However, our hardware is only half the story—the end user's boating experience is ultimately defined and driven by the software and data insights we deliver.
As we scale our footprint across the global marine industry, we are seeking an ambitious, high-energy Distribution Manager who wants to make a permanent mark on the industry and leave a lasting legacy.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Marine, you will lead the charge in expanding Cyclops Marine’s global reach. Your dual focus will be growing new territories and nurturing our existing distributor network.
This is a hands-on, high-impact commercial and technical role. You won't just manage accounts from behind a desk—you will travel side-by-side with distributor teams to visit key growth targets across Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), top-tier riggers, and premier marine retailers.
In addition to commercial drive, you will serve as the technical authority: educating distributor sales, technical, and engineering staff so they can effectively articulate both the physical sensor integration and the software/app ecosystem that maximizes the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Territory & Network Growth
- Identify, onboard, and establish high-performing distributors in target under-penetrated global regions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with distributor partners, setting growth strategies, revenue targets, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Drive market share expansion across key segments: OEMs, custom riggers, race teams, and retail channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
