This is one of the most prestigious finance leadership appointments currently available within the market.

Reporting directly to the Group Controller, this is a rare opportunity to influence Executive Leadership, lead an international finance function and shape strategic financial decision-making across one of the organisation's most significant global business areas. Opportunities of this calibre simply don't come along very often.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional finance leadership position. You'll lead a global finance function of approximately 20 professionals across both onshore and offshore teams, creating an environment where talented people thrive whilst delivering exceptional financial leadership to the wider business.
Acting as a trusted strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team and Global Function Leaders, you'll provide meaningful commercial challenge, influence major investment decisions and ensure the business continues to achieve its ambitious strategic objectives. You'll oversee global planning, forecasting, reporting and business partnering across the Enabling Functions, driving best-in-class financial performance whilst leading finance transformation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives across an evolving international organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Executive Leadership and Global Function Leaders to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global finance team across onshore and offshore operations.
- Drive a culture of robust financial control, commercial insight and continuous cost optimisation.
- Lead global planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.
- Provide constructive financial challenge around investment decisions, business cases and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Drive finance transformation, automation and process improvement programmes.
- Work collaboratively across FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Accounting and Business Intelligence functions to deliver best-in-class financial performance.
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence across the finance function.
- Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration and developing future finance leaders.
This opportunity will suit someone who:
- Is an ACA qualified accountant (or equivalent) with significant senior leadership experience within a complex global organisation.
- Has successfully led sizeable international finance teams across multiple locations.
- Brings a broad finance background spanning financial control, FP&A, business partnering, tax, treasury and corporate reporting.
- Has exceptional commercial acumen and enjoys influencing strategic business decisions.
- Is comfortable operating at Executive Leadership level whilst remaining equally approachable and engaging with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
- Possesses the confidence to challenge appropriately, influence with credibility and build trusted relationships throughout a global business.
- Is passionate about developing high-performing teams and creating an environment where talented people flourish.
- Thrives within a changing environment and has a proven track record of leading finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Is naturally curious, embraces new technology and AI, and is always looking for smarter ways to deliver better business outcomes.
- Is comfortable taking ownership from day one, working with autonomy and delivering results without the need for close supervision.
