Equity Research Analyst
Our client is a global investment management firm who is looking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to join the Global Equities platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of sectors, aligned with their background and experience. Working alongside an experienced team of investors, they will play a key role in driving stock selection across a range of long-only equity strategies including Global, International and European funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep, bottom-up fundamental research on listed companies across global markets
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts and valuation frameworks
- Generate differentiated investment insights through rigorous analysis of industries, competitive dynamics and company fundamentals
- Monitor macroeconomic, sector and company-specific developments relevant to portfolio holdings and prospective investments
- Prepare clear, high-quality research reports and discuss recommendations with portfolio managers
- Engage directly with company management teams, industry experts and sell-side research professionals
- Collaborate closely with other analysts and portfolio managers, actively contributing to research meetings and portfolio discussions

Candidate Requirements

- 4-8 years of experience in buy-side fundamental research, candidates from the sell-side will not be considered
- Strong academic credentials and CFA qualification
- Genuine passion for investing and public markets, with a long-term mindset
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Ability to form independent views and communicate investment ideas with conviction and clarity
- Collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for working within a high-performing investment team
- Low ego with a willingness to learn and challenge ideas constructively
