The Role
The Event Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of global events, including conferences, trade shows, customer events, while managing logistics, vendors, budgets, attendee engagement, and on-site event operations. The role also ensures event success through lead management, post-event reporting and ROI analysis, cross functional collaboration, and maintaining accurate event documentation, timelines, and operational processes.

This position reports to the Director of Global Events and is part of the Global Marketing organization located in the UK.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Support the Global Events team in planning and executing conferences, trade shows, customer events, corporate meetings, and other strategic programs.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venues, registration, shipping, collateral, promotional materials, vendors, and on-site operations.
- Coordinate event setup, execution, and teardown while partnering with marketing, sales, and business stakeholders to drive attendee engagement and ensure successful delivery.
- Capture, track, and manage event-generated leads in Eloqua; maintain accurate event documentation, budgets, timelines, and operational data.
- Analyze event performance through post-event reporting, attendee metrics, lead generation results, budget tracking, and ROI insights.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Event Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of experience in event planning, event marketing, conference management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to process excellence, accuracy, and high-quality execution.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
- Global travel 25%
- Physical activity- ability to lift 30 lbs.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working with event technology platforms such as Eloqua, Cvent, Sales cloud, or other registration and lead management tools.
- Exposure to global or multi-regional event planning, including coordinating with international stakeholders, vendors, and logistics providers.
- Knowledge of event marketing best practices, attendee engagement strategies, and event performance measurement, including lead generation and ROI analysis.
