Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Global Events Lead to build, scale, and lead the global event marketing strategy for Wise Platform, B2B side of Wise.

You will own end-to-end global event operations, driving market positioning, top-of-funnel customer acquisition, pipeline generation, and category leadership across all our international markets (EMEA, NAM, and APAC). You will balance overarching global strategy and creative innovation with direct leadership of our regional Event Marketing Managers and hands-on execution for flagship experiences.

Your mission:

  • Build a unified, scalable global event framework and tiered playbook covering Tier 1 flagship experiences, Tier 2 executive roundtables, and Tier 3 regional sponsorships and dinners
  • Direct the strategy and execution for our Wise Connect flagship conference series (running 3x per year across regions) and scale our executive C-level roundtable program (Wise Circles) across APAC, EMEA, and NAM
  • Bring creative vision to transform our event formats, refine global operating processes, and evaluate strategic external agency partnerships to ensure our flagship experiences continuously stand out
  • Oversee Wise Platform’s presence at top-tier global financial industry trade shows and summits
  • Provide direct line management, strategic alignment, and coaching to regional Events Marketing Managers located in London, Austin, and Singapore
  • Oversee event budgets, high-stakes vendor negotiations, and ensure execution standards across all global markets
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to design end-to-end event communications (pre/during/post-event email nurture flows, landing pages, and social teasers) that translate attendee engagement into commercial pipeline

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
