What will this role achieve?
The Global Finance Reporting Lead is responsible for three areas:
- Overseeing Godiva’s end-to-end financial operations and helping ensure that effective business decisions are made. This includes understanding and reporting on business performance to drive improvements and standardization, evaluating project business cases, and coordinating Godiva’s planning and forecasting processes from Net Sales to EBITDA.
- Leading commercial finance processes for Godiva and Global Brands, including innovation and pricing architecture. This role provides clear visibility into product performance by preparing monthly regional and consolidated reports for the Godiva and Global Commercial Leadership Teams.
- Managing two Global HQ cost centers, including monitoring monthly spending, reporting financial results, and initiating the recharge process to regional teams in a fair and transparent manner.

This position reports to the Vice President Finance, Commercial and GODIVA, and the role holder will have responsibility for delivering key forecasting, reporting, and commercial activities. Our remit covers all Godiva and other pladis regions, and we deal with many senior stakeholders.
This role is aimed at developing, coordinating, and ensuring quality reporting and insightful financial and commercial analysis across the business to give us a deep understanding of performance and be able to give insight to help drive the business forward.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Manage relationships with Godiva regions and support the regional finance teams on key global activities.
- Preparation and analysis of business results and communication to the VP Finance, CEO of Godiva, and Chief Commercial Officer of pladis.
- Challenging Godiva regions/operations to drive results.
- Ad-hoc analytics for the leadership team and preparation of some reports.
- External insight analysis, including competitor analysis.
- Embed new consolidation system and development of reports, analytical tools, and trend analysis (Sales, profitability, cash flow, and Capex).
- Annual target setting modeling involving internal & external insights.
- Develop process for key planning cycles, e.g., Budget.
- Financial modeling, evaluation & decision support of global activities.
- Preparing commercial reporting for Godiva and global brands.
- Tracking performance of NPDs.
- Monitoring spendings of two HQ cost centers and reporting results, initiating the recharging process to regions fairly.
- Strategic Projects and lead for financial and business evaluations.
Bring your experience.
Essential
- FP&A, Commercial Finance experience.
- Qualified Accountant with 8+ years PQ experience.
- Financial Accounting background with strong understanding & proven experience of working capital and cash flow analysis.
- High-end analytical & interrogation skills.
- Proven leadership skills, with the gravitas to build solid, successful working relationships cross-functionally.
- Track record of providing robust and informative financial analysis, including planning and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to make financial analysis easily understood.
- Highly conscientious with good attention to detail, coupled with a broad perspective.
- Ability to plan optimally and work under own initiative.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Financial modeling, scenario evaluation, and report development.

- Strong technical accounting skills (CA background).
- FMCG experience.
