As our Global Financial Accountant, you’ll be part of the Finance team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Global Financial Accounting Manager. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.

WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE

The Global Financial Accountant ensures the integrity of global ledgers and financial reporting across multiple entities, delivering accurate month-end and year-end results in compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements. This role acts as a subject matter expert in key accounting areas, strengthens internal controls, and drives process improvements to support operational efficiency and scalability.

  • Enable accurate and timely reporting to underpin strategic decisions and investor confidence.
  • Drive operational efficiency through standardisation and automation of accounting processes.
  • Strengthen governance and compliance by embedding robust controls and ensuring adherence to Group Accounting Policies.
  • Support cost control and margin improvement through accurate accounting for inventory, COGS, and operating expenses.

Strategic KPIs this role helps improve (through enablement and partnership)

  • Forecast accuracy – by ensuring timely and accurate postings and reconciliations.
  • Operating expense ratio (Opex) – through strong cost control and accurate classification.
  • Inventory turn and aged stock – by monitoring provisions and valuation integrity.
  • Internal control effectiveness – by maintaining compliance with audit frameworks and process documentation.

Core Accountabilities

As our Global Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing month-end accounting activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Delivering accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS, internal deadlines and the Global Chart of Accounts.
  • Providing technical accounting expertise across revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, inventory and COGS.
  • Supporting audit, compliance and internal control activities, including statutory and external audit requirements.
  • Driving process improvements, supporting finance system enhancements, and collaborating across teams while mentoring junior colleagues.

Key Skills & Capabilities

Put simply, the key things we’re looking for are:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS reporting experience.
  • Experience working in global, multi-currency environments with statutory compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience using finance systems such as D365 and/or OneStream desirable.
  • A collaborative, analytical and proactive approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
