What are we looking for?

We are seeking curious, ambitious and driven graduates who are excited by innovation, science and the opportunity to make an impact.

• A Bachelor or MSc completed within the last three years in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related subject.
• Experience analysing complex datasets, applying digital tools, or presenting scientific findings would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Scientific curiosity and a growth mindset.
• The ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, with resilience, adaptability and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
• Leadership potential and a desire to build a long-term career at BAT.
• Previous laboratory, industrial placement, internship, research project clinical research, data science, or innovation-focused work experience is advantageous but not essential.

Please note that we currently have three vacancies within the Global Graduate Programme two in New Categories R&D and one in Research & Science (R&S).
