Medik8, a pioneering leader in professional skincare, is seeking an exceptional Global Head of Education to lead our dynamic education initiatives on a 6 month maternity cover contract and cement our position as an industry leader.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to step into a pivotal role, spearheading our global education strategy and directly impacting our ambitious growth objectives. You'll be instrumental in developing and executing world-class educational experiences that empower our partners, engage our customers, and elevate the Medik8 brand worldwide.
The Details
- Salary: £70,000 to £80,000
- Duration: 6 month fixed term contract
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home
- Current office location: Centennial Park, Elstree but relocating to Hay's Galleria from January 2027
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Leadership
- Define and lead a global education strategy aligned to commercial priorities
- Drive measurable brand growth, market expansion, and ROI through education
- Develop education initiatives that drive customer acquisition, treatment adoption, retail conversion and long term business growth
Learning Ecosystem Development
- Oversee optimisation and adoption of the Medik8 Learning Management System (LMS) Phase 2
- Measure education effectiveness using engagement, adoption and commercial performance KPIs
Regional Alignment & Localisation
- Adapt global strategies for relevance and effectiveness in key international markets (particularly US and Rest of World)
- Support regional teams in creating culturally attuned and locally impactful educational content
Partner & Customer Engagement
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with distributors, retailers, professionals, and key customers
Market Expansion & Innovation
- Support successful entry into new markets through commercially relevant education strategies.
- Identify emerging education opportunities, customer needs and industry trends to strengthen Medik8’s competitive position.
Brand Representation
- Represent Medik8 at events, digital platforms, and media appearances
- Be a visible, credible ambassador of the Medik8 education ethos internationally

Internal Leadership & Collaboration
- Ensure delivery of best-in-class training and educational standards across all markets
- Manage a team of 2 Junior Educators, ensuring projects are delivered to completion
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to deliver commercially impactful education programmes.
- Ensure education strategies support product launches, commercial campaigns and key business priorities.
- Use customer feedback and commercial insights to continuously improve educational programmes.
Commercial Performance & Insights
- Monitor education effectiveness through engagement, adoption and commercial KPIs.
- Analyse customer insights to optimise education programmes and improve business performance.
- Demonstrate ROI of education initiatives through measurable commercial outcomes.
- Own and manage the global education budget ensuring effective investment, resource allocation and measurable return on investment aligned with commercial priorities.
Requirements:
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy or a closely related discipline.
- Substantial experience leading global or multi-regional education strategies within skincare, cosmetics, or premium professional services.
- Demonstrable expertise adapting overarching strategies for regional nuances, specifically across North American and ROW markets.
- Skilled in LMS implementation, tracking adoption metrics, and deriving actionable insights to improve performance.
- Proven capability managing departmental budgets and tying education output directly to sales growth, customer retention, and ROI.
- Demonstrable experience coaching, developing, and managing direct reports.
- Comfort and availability to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic and international) and support occasional weekend events as needed.
Desirable Criteria
- Broad background spanning both professional treatment networks and high-street retail channels.
- Experience scaling educational initiatives within high-growth, fast-paced commercial environments.
