Global Head of Enterprise Infrastructure & Architecture
We are looking for a Global Head of Enterprise Infrastructure & Architecture to lead the strategy, design and operation of M+C Saatchi Group’s global infrastructure, enterprise architecture, data platform foundations and AI-ready technology capability. This role sits at the core of our technology ecosystem — responsible for the platforms, integrations, automation and standards that enable the Group to operate securely, reliably and at scale. Reporting to the Global Chief Information Officer, you will lead the Infrastructure & Architecture function and work closely with Information Security, Service Delivery, Data, AI Operations and business stakeholders to ensure technology services are aligned to enterprise standards and business priorities. Based in London, with a hybrid working pattern, the role operates across a global network of teams.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As M+C Saatchi Group continues to simplify, modernise and harmonise its global technology estate, we require a senior technology leader to own the infrastructure and architecture foundations that support secure, scalable and effective operations across the Group.
This is a strategic leadership role spanning cloud platforms, network services, identity, collaboration technologies, enterprise architecture, integration, data platform enablement and AI-ready foundations. It is distinct from service desk operations or business-led AI adoption — instead focused on how the core technology environment is designed, governed and scaled.
You will provide leadership across your areas of responsibility, ensuring projects and support services are delivered through consistent standards, robust governance and clear alignment with business strategy.
Success in this role will look like:
- A well-governed, scalable, enterprise infrastructure and architecture aligned to business strategy, security requirements and technology roadmaps
- Consistent standards across cloud, identity, networking, collaboration, integration, data and AI platform services
- Reduced technology complexity through consolidation, automation, lifecycle management and rationalisation
- Clear foundations for data harmonisation, reporting, analytics, automation and AI-enabled services
- A high-performing global team with clear ownership, accountability and delivery focus
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Define and own the global infrastructure and enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap and target-state ecosystem
- Lead the design, operation and continuous improvement of core technology platforms including cloud infrastructure, identity services, networking, collaboration technologies, storage, endpoint management and enterprise platforms
- Establish and govern enterprise architecture principles, reference architectures, design standards and technology roadmaps across infrastructure, applications, data, integration and AI platform services
- Provide technical leadership and architectural assurance for infrastructure, platform, data and AI-related transformation initiatives before production deployment
- Drive data platform simplification, consolidation and harmonisation, ensuring data services are resilient, secure, scalable and appropriately governed
- Define and govern the Group's enterprise integration architecture, middleware platforms and iPaaS capabilities, ensuring seamless interoperability between applications, data platforms, AI services, cloud technologies and external partner ecosystems
- Define the infrastructure, platform and architectural standards required to support enterprise AI, automation, agentic workflows, innovation sandboxes and emerging technology initiatives
- Drive automation across infrastructure operations, provisioning, configuration management, monitoring and service delivery processes
- Ensure operational resilience through robust monitoring, disaster recovery, business continuity planning and incident response capabilities
- Own infrastructure capacity planning, performance management, availability management and service optimisation activities
- Lead identity, access management and platform security initiatives in partnership with the Information Security function
- Oversee vendor relationships, managed service providers, strategic technology partners and infrastructure-related procurement activities
- Lead and develop a global team of infrastructure engineers, support analysts and platform specialists
- Partner with Service Delivery teams to ensure new and changed services transition cleanly into operational support
- Provide regular reporting, strategic recommendations and technology roadmaps to the Global CIO and senior stakeholders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
