A leading international law firm is seeking a Global Head of Facilities Management to lead its global property and workplace strategy.
The opportunity
- Lead the firm’s global FM and workplace strategy, aligned to a partnership-led, client-facing environment
- Act as the senior advisor on all property matters, including lease negotiations, portfolio optimisation and international office openings
- Drive a high-quality, consistent workplace experience across offices, reflecting the expectations of partners, clients and fee earners
- Lead a complex outsourced model across FM, front of house, catering and workplace services
- Partner closely with Procurement and senior stakeholders on supplier strategy, commercial negotiations and cost management
- Oversee global budgets, ensuring strong financial control within a partnership-driven model
- Ensure a robust approach to compliance, risk and health & safety in a regulated legal environment
- Contribute to business continuity and resilience planning across the firm’s international footprint

Leadership & stakeholder engagement
- Operate as a key member of the Business Services leadership group
- Build strong relationships with Partners and senior leadership globally
- Collaborate closely with other central functions to deliver a joined-up, firmwide approach
About you
- Proven experience leading a global FM / property function within an international law firm or comparable professional services environment
- Deep understanding of the dynamics of a partnership model and fee-earner-led business
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing significant budgets and supplier contracts
- Track record of delivering workplace strategy across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience operating in regulated environments with a strong focus on compliance and risk
- Credible, confident stakeholder manager, able to influence at Partner and Board level
- Strong people leader, experienced in managing geographically dispersed teams
