About The Company

Scrambly is one of the fastest-growing adtech startups in the world, featured in the AppsFlyer Performance Index and Singular ROI Index in just 3.5 years.

We’re growing 250%+ YoY across revenue, team, product, and technology — fully bootstrapped and profitable.

We’re building the future of app discovery: a reward-powered alternative to the App Store and Google Play. Our loyalty-driven ecosystem connects millions of users with the world’s top apps and delivers unmatched, ROI-focused growth for mobile advertisers.

Our mission is to build a true alternative to traditional app stores — fueled by rewards and data — and create a new, performance-first growth engine for mobile app advertisers.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Global Head of Lifecycle Marketing to own retention, CRM, lifecycle communications and LiveOps across all of our apps and geos. You’ll take a large, fast-moving campaign estate — dozens of in-app messages, emails and push notifications per app — and turn it into a clean, measured, always-on machine. The headline goal: grow LiveOps revenue several-fold into 7-figure-monthly territory within a year, while making every campaign attributable and incremental.

This isn’t a seat-warmer role. You’ll live in Mixpanel and Customer.io, run a relentless testing program, kill what doesn’t move the numbers, and lean hard on AI — MCP/Claude workflows, automation inside Customer.io, and predictive models that recommend the next best message per user. You’ll be fully hands-on and build a team as you scale. If you’re a super-energetic, data-driven growth hacker who wants full ownership of a lifecycle engine and hates waste, this is your seat.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the whole lifecycle engine — retention, CRM, lifecycle comms, and LiveOps across every app and every geo, and build a team around it (US, UK, CA, FR).
  • Scale LiveOps revenue several-fold into 7-figure-monthly territory within your first year, all incremental and attributable.
  • Map and clean the campaign estate — measure the incrementality of every campaign across upper, mid, and deep funnel, re-engagement, retargeting, affiliate and lifecycle comms, and kill or replace whatever isn’t pulling its weight.
  • Run a relentless testing program — build up to 15+ A/B tests a week, plus 3 new retargeting tests a week, starting with the lowest-hanging-fruit segments.
  • Build LiveOps into an evergreen engine — a standing calendar of events across weekdays and weekends, refreshed continuously, plus a steady drumbeat of internal reactivation tests.
  • Live in the data — Mixpanel cohorts, funnels and retention curves; hold aggressive incremental targets and report clean readouts by app, geo and cohort.
  • Make it AI-native — use MCP/Claude and AI automation inside Customer.io to build, segment, personalise and QA at scale, with predictive models recommending the next best communication per user.
  • Work like an owner — treat the revenue number like your own money; see the gap, close it, no hand-holding.
  • Streamline CRM with Product — set specific lifecycle goals every quarter and build a repeatable, data-driven cadence with the product team.
  • Build and lead the team — hire as you scale and grow a full retention/lifecycle/LiveOps function, staying hands-on as a player-coach.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in lifecycle / CRM / retention marketing for consumer apps, including leading a team.
  • Proven scale — you’ve run lifecycle at consumer apps with millions of users across multiple geos, orchestrating dozens of concurrent campaigns.
  • A track record of driving 7-figure monthly revenue or engagement through lifecycle, retention and LiveOps — with the numbers to prove it.
  • All three channels — in-app messages, email and push notifications, at real volume.
  • Deep CRM/messaging platform skills — we use Customer.io; Braze or similar is fine.
  • Advanced product-analytics chops — we use Mixpanel; Amplitude or similar is fine. Self-serve, no waiting on anyone for a number.
  • Fluency in the economics — incrementality, cost tracking, performance tracking, A/B test design, LTV and retention/engagement cohorts.
  • Advanced AI user — MCP/Claude workflows, AI automation and predictive user-behaviour modelling are part of how you work.
  • Owner mentality — you fix problems and move without being managed; results over activity, every time.
  • Relentless energy and standards — a 10/10 operator who goes beyond the brief and is restless with “good enough.”
  • English C1+ — you work fluently across US, UK, CA and FR markets.

Experience We’re Looking For

You likely have 7+ years of scaling lifecycle and retention across multiple consumer apps with millions of users, where lifecycle was a core revenue driver — not an afterthought. You’ve owned the number, run the tests, and built the automation.

Industries You Likely Come From

  • Mobile gaming and gaming-adjacent apps with strong LiveOps.
  • Consumer subscription and freemium apps (health, fitness, education, media, dating).
  • Rewards, cashback, loyalty, and “earn” apps.
  • Fintech and neobank consumer apps with heavy lifecycle engagement.
  • E-commerce/marketplace apps with sophisticated CRM.

Types Of Companies You May Have Worked At

  • High-growth consumer app scale-ups where retention drives the P&L.
  • Mobile-first companies with mature LiveOps and lifecycle programs.
  • Data- and AI-forward growth teams that test relentlessly.
  • Companies operating across multiple countries and app portfolios.

How We Work

Meritocratic, fast, product-first, and flat. We hold an explicit A-player bar and value direct, honest feedback over titles or seniority. You’ll have full autonomy from day one — and full accountability for the outcome. Opinions start the conversation; numbers end it.

The bar: grow LiveOps into 7-figure-monthly revenue within a year, running 15+ tests a week across a clean, AI-driven lifecycle engine — every campaign incremental and attributable. If that lights you up, let’s talk.

By submitting this application, I agree that my personal data will be collected, processed, and retained by the company solely for the purposes of managing and assessing my candidacy.
