Global Head of Market Abuse & Surveillance | London | Hybrid
I’m working on a senior opportunity for a Global Head of Market Abuse & Surveillance within a major financial services organisation.
The role sits within 2nd Line Compliance, providing independent oversight and credible challenge across the organisation’s global Surveillance framework.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading global Surveillance oversight across markets, products and regions.
- Overseeing Market Abuse governance, policy and regulatory requirements.
- Providing senior challenge around alerts, near misses and STORs.
- Leading assurance/testing of Surveillance controls.
- Advising senior stakeholders and governance committees on emerging Market Abuse risks.

We’re looking for:
- 8+ years’ experience across Market Abuse, Surveillance or Compliance Oversight.
- Strong 2LoD experience within Global Markets, Investment Banking or a similarly complex environment.
- Excellent regulatory judgement and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Experience across governance, assurance and/or regulatory engagement.
