Head of Performance Marketing
London | Hybrid office-led four days/week
Premium Beauty | High-Growth | PE-Backed
We’re partnering with a highly regarded, founder-led premium beauty brand to appoint a Head of Performance Marketing at an exciting stage of its growth journey.
With a distinctive brand, highly engaged customer base and significant international opportunity, the business is entering its next phase of scale. Following recent investment, there is increased ambition to accelerate digital growth, strengthen customer acquisition and build a best-in-class performance marketing capability.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who combines deep performance marketing expertise with strong commercial judgement. You’ll own the strategy across paid acquisition and digital growth, ensuring investment is deployed intelligently to drive profitable, sustainable growth.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the performance marketing strategy and play a critical role in shaping the wider growth agenda.
You’ll be responsible for evolving the brand’s approach to customer acquisition, improving marketing effectiveness and building a sophisticated, data-led performance engine capable of supporting ambitious UK and international growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Own and develop the global performance marketing strategy, with accountability for customer acquisition, efficiency and profitable growth.
- Lead significant investment across paid social, paid search, shopping and emerging acquisition channels, continually assessing where the next growth opportunities lie.
- Set the commercial framework for performance marketing, balancing revenue growth, CAC, ROAS, LTV and contribution rather than optimising channels in isolation.
- Build a rigorous approach to forecasting, budgeting, attribution and incrementality, giving leadership clear visibility on marketing effectiveness.
- Partner closely with eCommerce, Brand, Creative, CRM and Finance to create an integrated growth strategy.
- Develop a sophisticated testing roadmap across creative, audiences, channels, landing experiences and customer journeys.
- Translate customer and performance data into actionable insights that improve acquisition, conversion and retention.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate growth across international markets, adapting channel and investment strategies accordingly.
- Lead and develop internal performance marketing capability while managing external agencies and technology partners where appropriate.
- Bring greater pace, experimentation and commercial discipline to the organisation without compromising the strength or integrity of the brand.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
