Background to the Role

As a Global In-Store Intern, you will support the Global In-Store team across Visual Merchandising and Global In-Store Development, gaining hands-on experience in how global brands are translated into impactful, consistent and locally relevant retail experiences.

Working closely with two managers, you will contribute to the development of global in-store guidelines and visual merchandising assets, while also supporting their adaptation and implementation across local markets. You will work with Global Brand teams, Local teams, Creative teams and external partners, developing a strong understanding of the global-to-local retail process and how brand strategy, creativity, shopper needs and commercial requirements come together in-store.


Key Responsibilities

Global Visual Merchandising & In-Store Experience — 50%

  • Assist in translating brand strategy, product launches and creative concepts into clear and executable in-store guidelines.
  • Support the development of global visual merchandising guidelines and tools for permanent and temporary retail environments.
  • Assist with the preparation of creative briefs, presentations, guidelines and project materials for internal teams and external agencies.
  • Support the preparation, development and deployment of 2D/3D visual assets and design files.
  • Support project coordination including timelines, follow-ups and feedback consolidation.

  • Support the adaptation of global visual merchandising guidelines to local market and retailer specificities.
  • Assist in reviewing local market adaptations to ensure alignment with global brand standards and commercial objectives.
  • Assist in tracking market implementation and identifying recurring challenges or opportunities for improvement.

What You Will Bring

  • You are curious, proactive and organized, with a strong interest in visual merchandising, retail, brands and consumer experiences.
  • You combine a creative mindset with strong attention to detail and enjoy working with different stakeholders in an international environment.
  • You are comfortable moving between creative projects, structured coordination tasks and market-related activities, and are eager to learn how global brands create and execute best-in-class retail experiences.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior/Retail Design, Fashion Design, Spatial Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a strong focus on visual communication and design.
  • Passion or interest in beauty with a strong visual and creative sensibility, as well as an ability to translate ideas into compelling visual presentations.
  • Have an understanding of retail environments and an interest in merchandising in-store execution.
  • Have strong organizational and project coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Are creative, business-minded and solution-oriented, with an interest in balancing brand expression with commercial needs.
  • Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing different priorities. You are also proactive and comfortable working independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.
  • Have strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or 2D/3D design tools.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and are fluent in English.
