Salary

£160,000–£180,000 + 20% Bonus + Pension

Contract

2 Year Fixed-Term Contract

We are working with a major private equity-backed organisation to appoint a Global Infrastructure Director into a newly created, board-visible leadership position.

Reporting directly to the Group COO, this individual will take ownership of the global infrastructure and shared services strategy across a complex, multi-country environment.

The organisation is at an early stage of a significant technology transformation, with a mandate to simplify and consolidate infrastructure, modernise cloud services, improve colleague experience, strengthen outsourced supplier performance and materially reduce the technology cost base.

The Role

You will lead the strategic direction and transformation of infrastructure services across the group, including:

  • Developing and delivering a multi-year infrastructure and shared services strategy
  • Leading infrastructure consolidation and modernisation across Microsoft/Azure, M365 and AWS environments
  • Driving a major programme of cost optimisation and operational improvement
  • Taking a senior role in the management, commercial governance and performance of global ITO/outsourcing partners
  • Establishing demanding SLAs, KPIs and supplier performance standards
  • Improving global end-user computing, communications and colleague technology services
  • Reducing legacy infrastructure, technical debt and vendor complexity
  • Developing a modern, metrics-driven infrastructure operating model

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
