The role provides I.T. Infrastructure leadership to our global businesses and supporting the IT teams on the ground to ensure day to day running of systems and infrastructure as well as the Programme management and implementation of Infrastructure projects across markets. Managing escalations and ensuring the relevant technical and operational resource is aligned where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary point of escalation for all global Infrastructure teams and service delivery teams for critical Priority 1 tickets requiring technical leadership
- Liaise with SSC, other 3rd party’s and key stakeholders as needed when managing escalations and issues as required
- Own and develop all infrastructure metrics and reporting and make these available to all relevant stakeholders across all global markets
- Standardise the support and management of Infrastructure and Security patching across all markets
- Provide technical capability to own and resolve escalated incidents in collaboration with application owners, users and third parties and the SSC
- Provide infrastructure/technical skills to support and implement projects and change from planning through to completion/handover
- Own the Infrastructure programme management function and delivery of infrastructure projects across Twinings Globally
- Work with third parties and the SSC to deliver improvements to existing solutions and services
- Manage and apply change, adhering to defined process and methodology
- Co-ordinate the testing/invocation of disaster recovery procedures across all global markets
- Support and drive the infrastructure consolidation and cloud migration agenda across global markets
- Line management and leadership to UK infrastructure analyst, BizTech programme and technical project managers and central server management and patching team. Dotted line to all Global Infrastructure Teams
- Responsible for the day-to-day tasks and efficiency of the Andover based SSC Desktop resource & India/ other markets resources
- Manage Infrastructure opex and capital budgets for UK&I, IM markets
- Own the testing/invocation of disaster recovery for Andover Infrastructure
- Work closely with all areas of manufacturing and Industrial control systems within all UK&I, IM locations and provide technical input to incidents, change and problems relating to these
- Own projects with UK&I, IM as it relates to Infrastructure needs
- Own the relationship with Supply Centre Leaders to deliver a project execution roadmap and ensure each project is understood, prioritised, and implemented as required
- Any other duties relating to the remit of a role of this standing as required by the needs of the business

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Significant demonstrable experience in an Infrastructure management role, demonstrating change control knowledge
- Awareness of Cyber security and information security principles and the importance of data/evidence collection as part of incident management
- Solid knowledge of networking and server based infrastructure – Lan, Wan, Wifi, servers, hypervisors etc
- Experience with managing cloud infrastructure assets and cloud migrations
- Change and Project management knowledge and experience required
- Demonstrable line management experience; leading and coaching individuals to thrive and to deliver to the best of their potential
- Highly desirable – experience with running / supporting technical project and programme delivery function
- Experience with / knowledge of manufacturing systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when engaging and dealing with customers and third parties. Is genuinely interested in people and actively listens and communicates technical subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences, flex’s style and delivery approach to suit the needs of the audience.
- An enthusiastic and creative approach with a natural ability to influence and engage others to take responsibility, take action and get involved.
- Easily able to build, engage and reach out to a broad network of value-add contacts both internally to the business and outside the organisation.
- Culturally adept at communicating with other countries and sensitive to the cultural differences that must be respected and applied.

- Valued team player that encourages and openly shares knowledge, skill and experience effectively with other Inc. internal teams, across the wider international business units and third parties

- Creatively prepares a clear plan and robust methodology to manage complex issues or change initiatives. Communicates with stakeholders to ensure involvement, engagement and understand
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and in consultation with others
- Thrives in an autonomous working environment and can flex and adapts approach internationally
- Receptive and open to the views of others and consider to all parties needs when agreeing ways of working
- Able to engage, motivate and coach key business functions through the delivery of change and security management initiatives
- Analyses and assimilates strategy and information from various sources and applies/integrates thinking to the work and projects within the remit of the role
