Global Infrastructure Manager

Our client is looking for a Global Infrastructure Manager to lead the reliable and secure operation of its global on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

You will manage a technical team, act as the senior escalation point and deliver infrastructure projects across networks, servers, cloud, unified communications, physical security and backup. This role is focused on operational resilience, project delivery and strong commercial control.

  • Lead and develop a global team of systems, network and cloud specialists
  • Own the availability, performance and security of the infrastructure estate
  • Lead major incident response, root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Establish effective monitoring, alerting and infrastructure reporting
  • Plan and deliver upgrades, hardware refreshes, cloud migrations and other infrastructure projects
  • Provide senior technical direction and resolve complex infrastructure issues
  • Own infrastructure budgets, forecasting, licensing and cost controls
  • Manage technology suppliers, contracts and service performances
  • Maintain documentation, operational runbooks and CMDB records
  • Own disaster recovery, Microsoft 365 backup and infrastructure recovery testing
  • Contribute to the infrastructure strategy and technology roadmap
