Role Overview

As a Global Intelligence Team Lead, you will play a vital role by leading a team of Intelligence Analysts to deliver regional intelligence products and services to Securitas and Securitas’ customers.

  • Work Pattern: 4 on 4 off days
  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • Requirement: Live within a 45-minute commute of the office in Milton Keynes.
  • Good knowledge and interest in current affairs and the global security threat landscape.

Job Description

Purpose

The Global Intelligence Team Lead is a role within the Risk Intelligence Center (RIC). The role is responsible for leading a team of Intelligence Analysts to deliver regional intelligence products and services to Securitas and Securitas’ customers. The role is suited to someone with 1-3 years’ experience in intelligence and / or investigations; previous operations experience is essential, and while people management is not essential it is advantageous.

The primary focus of the Global Intelligence Team Lead is to lead and be responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of data and information, and production of intelligence products and services, and disseminate these to customers internally and commercially.

Responsibilities

  • Direction of intelligence efforts based on instruction from RIC leadership, colleagues, account teams, and clients, and based on own identification and initiative.
  • Collection of data and information, including use of intelligence tools, and manual processes including research.
  • Processing of intelligence into databases, forms, logs, systems, templates etc.
  • Analysis of data and information using recognised intelligence techniques and supporting seniors with more complex and / or demanding efforts.
  • Production of finished intelligence products autonomously, or with support / supporting seniors, including (but not limited to) alerts, analysis (assessments, reports etc.) and investigations. This includes both written products and verbal presentations.
  • Dissemination of intelligence products to stakeholders, including internally within Securitas, and commercially to customers, both in the UK and overseas.
  • Evaluation and Feedback of intelligence services, including maintaining the highest level of consistency and quality.
  • Management of a team of Intelligence Analysts.
  • Support senior management and provide guidance to junior colleagues in order to maximise their development, efficiency, and morale.
  • Support the identification and development of new sources and methods of research to ensure that intelligence products reflect latest methodologies and best practice.
  • Maintaining awareness of innovation within intelligence to develop and implement the latest techniques and tactics, best practice, and information relevant to the RIC and own self development.
  • Be a role model in the RIC.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Securitas organisation, including client facing staff and global colleagues.
  • Work closely in partnership with other internal stakeholders and be willing to challenge the status-quo.
  • Liaise and collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and agencies (both internally and externally) in the UK and internationally to build an intelligence network.
  • Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English to deliver intelligence reports to various audience levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen to others and communicate research to ensure understanding.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
  • The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
