About Bolt
Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we're just getting started.
Why join Bolt?
- Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
- Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
- Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
- Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.
About The Role
As Global Lead - Strategic Partnerships at Bolt for Business, you will own our strategic partnerships agenda end to end: helping to set the strategy, building the partnership portfolio, and leading the team that delivers it. You will manage a team spanning business development and customer success, accountable both for winning new global partnerships and for scaling the value of the ones we already have.
The role operates at 2 levels. You will define where the partnership portfolio goes, deciding which partner types we pursue, which commercial models we use, and how we prioritise across online travel agents, global aggregators, travel and expense platforms, corporate travel management and other channels. At the same time, you will coach your team through complex, high-value negotiations and lead the most strategic ones yourself, using our state-of-the-art API connectivity to open up new use cases for Bolt’s Ride products.
You will be accountable for new and existing GMV that strategic partnerships deliver, working closely with product, legal, operations, finance and marketing to remove blockers and unlock growth. You will also be a key stakeholder in building and defining our Enterprise enablement strategy, ensuring Bolt for Business can close the biggest opportunities in the market. In return, we offer an exciting opportunity for growth and impact within a fast-paced environment. It’ll be a perfect match for you if you have led high-performing commercial teams, think strategically about where value comes from, and want the autonomy to shape a global partnerships function.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Own and drive the strategic partnerships strategy, defining target partner types, commercial models and priorities, and translating them into a clear roadmap with measurable targets.
- Lead, coach and develop the strategic partnerships team across business development and customer success, setting objectives, managing performance, and hiring to build the capability we need to scale.
- Deliver the strategic partnerships GMV plan, forecasting accurately, phasing targets across the year, and holding the team accountable for delivery.
- Lead the most complex and highest-value negotiations personally, and act as the escalation point for your team on commercial, technical and contractual issues.
- Build and maintain a global pipeline of partnership opportunities, mapping new commercial arrangements and deal types and identifying the product gaps that need closing to win them.
- Own the partner lifecycle after signature, making sure partners are onboarded, activated and grown through structured account management and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Work with product and engineering to shape the API and product roadmap, bringing partner and market insight into prioritisation decisions.
- Represent strategic partnerships to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing clear reporting on performance, risks and investment cases.
About You
- You have at least 6 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development or a commercial role at a tech company, including ownership of GMV target.
- You have managed people and can point to concrete examples of hiring, coaching and developing commercial talent, ideally across both new business and account management or customer success.
- You have set a commercial strategy rather than only executed it: you have decided where to play, built the case for it, and delivered against it.
- You have a proven track record in identifying, initiating, negotiating, and finalising significant partnership agreements at global or enterprise scale.
- You are comfortable owning both sides of the partnership lifecycle, from first conversation through to long-term account growth and retention.
- You can effectively communicate, efficiently network, and build meaningful relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- You are comfortable using data to inform decisions and can build compelling business cases, forecasts and performance reviews using tools like Google Sheets, Looker, or similar.
- You possess a strong sense of ownership, operating comfortably with ambiguity and driving projects forward independently while maintaining focus on achieving key objectives.
- Preferable, but not necessary, is a background in travel and mobility.
