Day to day:

Insight Global is looking for a Global learning experience designer/ Instructional designer to join a global consulting firm. This person will help with the architecture and design learning experiences that are engaging, practical, and behaviourally impactful. Your work will help employees understand core skills essential for their role and how to apply them confidently in their day-to-day work, strengthening how their impact shows up across the firm.

In this role, you will:

  • Assess learner needs and business objectives to identify capability gaps and inform effective learning solutions.
  • Translate broad or undefined requirements into clear learning strategies, gathering the necessary information to drive progress and deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • Simplify complex concepts into engaging learning experiences through practical examples, storytelling techniques, and learner-focused design methodologies.
  • Develop learning interventions that help individuals understand performance expectations, reflect on feedback, and create actionable development plans.
  • Design and develop a variety of learning solutions, including eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual workshops, microlearning, and performance support resources.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to support content creation and design processes while applying critical review, quality assurance, and instructional design best practices.
  • Create prototypes and learning concepts, using stakeholder input to enhance and improve solution effectiveness.
  • Independently analyse existing materials and content sources to build high-quality learning programs, collaborating with subject matter experts where required.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure learning solutions align with business goals and learner needs.
  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and champion best-practice learning design principles throughout project delivery.
  • Remain flexible in changing environments, responding effectively to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on learner outcomes and project quality.
  • Oversee multiple learning initiatives simultaneously, managing timelines, deliverables, and quality standards from planning through implementation.

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field
  • You design engaging, behaviourally driven learning that translates complex topics into practical application
  • You bring a strong working knowledge of adult learning theory and learning experience design principles and apply them in practice
  • You have hands-on experience using Gen AI tools in a learning design context and a critical eye for evaluating and refining AI-generated output e.g. custom gpt
  • You apply strong critical thinking and storytelling to turn content into clear, compelling narratives
  • You work confidently with stakeholders, balancing perspectives while advocating for high-quality solutions
  • You manage multiple projects end-to-end, delivering high-quality outcomes on time
  • You bring experience with digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise) and multi-modal formats
  • You have experience developing SCORM-compliant content and familiarity with LMS platforms
  • You navigate global, cross-functional teams with ease, bringing people together across different perspectives and priorities to move work forward
