About Crown Agents Bank

Crown Agents Bank is a rapidly growing, regulated UK bank connecting emerging and frontier markets to the world through innovative FX and payments technology. Our mission is simple: reduce friction so more money reaches those who need it.

For over 200 years we’ve built trusted networks across hard-to-reach markets. Today, we pair that heritage with digital innovation to support fintechs, corporates, governments, development organisations and banks with cross-border payments and FX solutions.

Job Description

Role Purpose

Client-facing role responsible for driving revenue for the Global Markets desk, with a strong focus on derivatives, including swaps and forwards, and money market products. The role leads product development and the rollout of new currencies and client segments, while proactively identifying cross-sell opportunities, particularly across money market deposits, FX products and cross-currency payments. It leverages deep market expertise and data-led client insights to deliver tailored solutions across global markets, especially emerging and frontier markets, within the Bank’s risk and regulatory framework.

Role Responsibilities

  • Client Coverage and Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on the day-to-day basis in relation to FX and MM on the Global Markets desk, supporting relationship bankers and developing and executing account plans and client strategy.
  • Build long-term relationships and maintain regular client engagement: Identify client needs and translate them into actionable opportunities while ensuring product suitability and alignment to client needs and risk appetite.
  • Coordinate execution: Ensuring accurate trade capture and lifecycle management, and maintain pipeline information via CRM/CLM tools, including opportunities, forecasts, volumes and revenue.
  • Produce revenue forecasts, track performance and progress deals: Through internal approval processes, including commercial approval.
  • FX Derivatives (G-10 & Emerging Markets): Develop and deliver accurate and competitive pricing for FX derivatives, including swaps and forwards, across emerging and frontier market currencies.
  • Collaborate closely with Trading: To ensure robust pricing frameworks and execution outcomes, balancing commercial objectives with risk appetite, appropriate spreads and profitability.
  • Origination and Revenue Generation: Identify and originate new business opportunities across new clients, products and corridors, driving cross-sell opportunities across FX, payments, liquidity and trade.
  • Deliver revenue targets: Through lead generation, including events, referrals and market analysis, as well as opportunity qualification, pipeline management and negotiation of commercial terms and pricing with clients.
  • Risk, Compliance and Conduct: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory obligations, including MiFID and FCA requirements, internal policies and risk appetite, escalating any conduct, suitability or product concerns as appropriate.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Trading, Coverage, Transformation, Risk, Compliance and Operations, presenting opportunities internally to governance committees.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
