Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Global Markets - Business Analyst - Client Data Analytics to drive critical client data initiatives and enterprise data management within an investment banking environment.
What You Will Do:
- Lead requirements workshops to challenge assumptions, resolve ambiguities, and drive consensus across diverse business and technology groups.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, precise functional specifications and data requirements.
- Define source-to-target data mapping, data lineage, migration pathways, and robust data reconciliation frameworks.
- Validate technical implementation outcomes against defined business criteria to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Model master data and hierarchies including detailed legal entity structures, client hierarchies, ownership relationships, and business rules.
- Enforce corporate data governance principles across all delivered data solutions.
- Query large, complex datasets using technical tools to troubleshoot issues and generate actionable operational insights.
- Collaborate closely with enterprise architecture, engineering teams, and project managers within an Agile delivery framework.
- Manage and explain intricate data concepts directly to senior stakeholders to secure strategic alignment.
- Support investment banking change programs across client onboarding, KYC, regulatory reporting, or reference data management systems.

Qualifications
- Proven track record delivering data-focused change initiatives within Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
- Strong understanding of master data and hierarchy modeling, legal entity structures, and business rules.
- Hands-on expertise managing data mapping, data migration, lineage tracing, and complex data reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
- Technical familiarity using SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze large complex datasets for problem-solving.
- Experience working within Agile project delivery methodologies alongside technical engineering and architecture cohorts.
- Background supporting client onboarding, KYC, regulatory changes, reference data, or master data management (MDM) programs.
- Superior analytical skills paired with the ability to articulate technical data structures to non-technical business partners.
